One Utah Summit Returns to Salt Lake City

The Cox/Henderson administration is pleased to return its northern Utah business summit to downtown Salt Lake City.

Join us at The Grand America Hotel on April 11-12, 2024, to connect with Utah’s leaders.

Convening in the state’s capital city provides unique opportunities to network, collaborate, and learn from leading Utah organizations.

The summit opens at 5 p.m. on April 11 with the Startup State Entrepreneur Challenge, where new entrepreneurs compete for cash before a panel anchored by Gov. Spencer Cox. The following morning brings mainstage keynote addresses and breakout sessions focused on the day’s business topics and trends. The summit concludes on the afternoon of April 12 with a keynote address by Gov. Cox.

The summit features timely conversations about the intersections of emerging technologies, government, and business in Utah.

Presented by the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, Utah Office of Energy Development, World Trade Center Utah, and Salt Lake Chamber, the spring One Utah Summit highlights and addresses opportunities in the state’s economy.

The business services team in the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity organizes the spring summit in partnership with the presenting organizations listed above and Powerhouse Events.

Your Leadership Promise
The summit features “Your Leadership Promise,” a keynote entertainment experience by Utahn Jason Hewlett, a globally sought-after presenter, leadership expert, and author. Summit attendees will receive a copy of Hewlett’s book, “The Promise To The One.”

The Startup Capital of the World

In January 2024, WalletHub again named Utah the No. 1 best state to start a business. Utah is the startup state.

Utah provides fertile soil for modern innovators and entrepreneurs. As the country’s fastest-growing state, with a well-educated workforce and thriving economy, Utah’s mountains, valleys, deserts, and plateaus provide the perfect environment to nourish and champion the startup and entrepreneurial spirit.

The state’s growth, unparalleled quality of life, government support for small businesses, and access to startup networks and capital attract doers and innovative thinkers to Utah’s communities.

Gov. Cox will address Utah's unique startup ecosystem and make the case for why Utah's the startup capital of the world.
